I. Travel and Cultural Activities

1. The College of International Exchange and Education of HEBU will arrange a tour for foreign students in spring and autumn respectively.
2. International students are welcome to take part in all kinds of cultural activities or sport and the winners will be awarded.
3. A tour to scenic places in or around Baoding and Beijing will be arranged if the concrete situation allows.

II. Living Conditions

The Center of Foreign Teachers and Students is a service institute for foreign teachers and students where different levels of dormitories. The Center provides air conditioners, public washing machines, refrigerators, international phones, and fax machines, etc. In the dormitories, there are private bathrooms, color TVs, telephones, study equipments and interfaces with the Internet. In the canteen, both Chinese and western food is provided and international students can also learn to make dumplings and other Chinese cuisines.

Near HEBU there are a large-sized square, shopping centers, supermarkets, vegetable markets, a post office, and a laundry. Noticeably, nearby there are also Japanese and Korean restaurants, KFC, McDonald's and many restaurants with Baoding cuisines. Communications are convenient with bus No. 4, No. 17, No, 22, No. 23, No. 27, No. 303, No. 305, No. 306 and No. 308 passing by the university, which directly lead to the downtown and the railway station.
