Establishesd in 1958, Capital Normal University (CNU) a major training base particularly for teachers training in Beijing. It is a testing base for HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test). Besides, it is Beijing Mandarin Training and Testing Center and is the only training base of college entrance examinations for students from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas Chinese students. Since 1956, CNU has started to recruit international students. And Chinese, fine arts, music, dancing, calligraphy, etc are especially popular with international students.
