Founded in 1956, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM) is ender the direct administration of Ministry of Education. Since 1957, BUCM has trained numerous batches of foreign students. In 2009, total enrollment of foreign students’ number is 1,414. The English-taught Chinese Medicine (including Acupuncture) is really popular among foreign and local students. Besides, the 5-year TCM Program (taught in English) following the educational model of “lectures given in English While learning Chinese language synchronically” is highly praised by foreign students who have undergone this course. 3 Steps to Apply to a Chinese University

1.High school graduate or equivalent or above
2.Applicants must be in good health
3.A good command of Chinese (reading,oral aural and written)

Note:

Undergraduate applicants are required to sit for a written Entrance Examination and to be interviewd. Level 6 or above HSK certificate holders are exempt from the Written Examination.
 

1.Photocopy of valid passport
With photo, passport number &expiration date and name included.
2.Passport-sized photo
A passport-sized photo taken recently of the applicant.
3.Graduation certificate of high school
Graduation certificate should be in Chinese or English.If not, it should be translated into Chinese or English and be notarized.
4.Academic transcript of high school
5.Letter of guardian’s guarantee For applicant under 18 years of age
Letter of guarantee The guardian should write out his/her name, nationality, occupation and address (if an organization acts as the guardian, reference to the organization should be made clear).
