Purposes of this Program After two years study, successful students will be competent in Chinese language and Chinese culture, which are sought after professional talents in the modern international society. They will pass Grade 6 of HSK and qualified students will get a professional certificate which is recognised by the Chinese government. These professional certificates also allow successful students to go on to study for their bachelor’s degrees in the Overseas Chinese University (Hua Qiao University).

According to the requirements of the “Summary of Chinese language teaching to high school foreign students”, students will master 2,036 common Chinese words (written and spoken) and 4,919 phrases.

Beijing Chinese Language and Culture College is located in the center of Beijing, is only 5km from Tian’anmen Square. The College has a faculty of experienced teachers with a deep love of teaching Chinese and with an understanding of overseas Chinese students. The College has also taken advantage of its environment to provide both class learning and a vibrant social scene. The academic facilities, which are well stocked with a rich store of learning materials, include: language laboratories, audiovisual practice rooms, internet rooms, multimedia rooms, a library, a reference room and a reading room. Recreation facilities include playgrounds, gymnasia, a dance hall, a billiard room and a table tennis room. Accommodation, which is twin sharing, is conveniently located and provides for students’ requirements.

With photo, passport number &expiration date and name included.

2.  Passport-sized photo
A passport-sized photo taken recently of the applicant.

3.Certificate of senior high school graduation or equivalent schooling
Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.
