The School of Information Science is constituted of Information Management Department, Computer Science and Technology Department, E-Commerce Department, Public Teaching Department, Specialized Labs, Career Design Studio and other auxiliary teaching organizations. There are 22 professors and associate professors, 33 PhDs (including PhD candidates), and 866 undergraduates. In recent years, the school has engaged in around 10 ministerial and provincial research projects, and taken part in 'Golden Audit project' and '863 Project' and other national projects. Over 600 theses have been published in journals like Soft Science Journal, Computer Science. Around 10 treatises including Audit of the computer information management have been issued by the department. The school has also won several awards in teaching and research.
B.A. E-Commerce
Objectives: This program fosters students of E-Commerce who possess solid knowledge of economic management and sense of modern business, and master theories, knowledge, skills and study methods of the information science. They are expected to be able to carry out business activities by using Internet, as well as to develop, apply and manage the E-Commerce, with spirit to innovate and ability to practice. Graduates are expected to be able to carry out scientific research and E-Commerce application in IT industry, governmental institutions, trading companies, enterprises, administrative departments, and research institutions.
