Nanchang Hangkong University, also Nanchang Aviation University, is located in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, People's Republic of China. It is an engineering-based multidisciplinary university. It was Nanchang Institute of Aeronautical Technology and it was renamed in Feb. 2007. It is a higher education institute with a distinctive feature of aeronautics and national defense under the joint supervision of Jiangxi Provincial Government and Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China. NCHU has over 1,200 professional teachers. At present, the total number of registered students is 21,000, of whom 19,000 undergraduates, 1,095 postgraduates, and over 1,200 vocational students. Introduction

The dormitory for foreign students is located on campus of Nanchang Hangkong University. Both two-bed rooms and one-bed rooms are available. Each room has a private bath, a telephone, a TV set, internet access, air conditioning, bookshelves, standard size wardrobes, a fridge. There are washing machines for public use.

3 Steps to Apply to a Chinese University

1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health.

2. Education background and age limit:

Applicants for the Master's degree in Aeronautical Engineering must have a bachelor's degree and be under the age of 30.

Applicants for the Master's degree in Civil Engineering must have a bachelor's degree and be under the age of 35.

3.Obey the relevant laws of the PRC and meet the admission requirements of the host universities.

4. Applicants must have a good academic record and merits.

4.Self-introduction video ( 3-5 minutes ):

7.Proof of bank deposit.

8. Highest diploma, including senior high school diploma or bachelor’s degree certificate needed in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.

9. Academic transcripts: Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.

10.Stamped Transcript from the undergraduate/master program or notarized Chinese/English-translated transcript.

11. A study or research plan. Applicants for postgraduate degrees are required to submit a study or research plan in Chinese or in English.

12.Recommendation letters: Applicants for postgraduate studies must submit two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English from professors or associate professors.

13.Valid HSK Transcript for Chinese-taught programs and IELTS\TOEFL for English-taught programs, or other documents to prove your linguistic competence.
