In the 21st century it is the most promising business model. It puts special emphasis on the courses of management, economics, the modern enterprise management and computer information processing, information resources management, and e-commerce. Furthermore, it attaches importance to the analysis, design and implementation e-commerce, and to the use of modern information technology in network marketing, network financial operations, and e-commerce market research and development. Students in the first two years are trained in accordance with the category of information management to gain a solid theoretical foundation. At the third school year students can choose their specialties in accordance with their own choice to finish their follow-up professional courses.

Chongqing university of Posts and Telecommunications (CUPT), founded in 1950, is one of the few universities that have been blue-printed and given priority to develop by the State, and has grown into a prominent university acknowledged by its excellent in the field of information industry in and out of China.
