Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (LNUTCM), founded in 1958, is the only institution for TCM higher learning in Liaoning Province. Chinese Pharmacy, Acupuncture and Moxibustion, Chinese Massage, Integration of TCM and Western Medicine in Clinical Practice, Senior Nursing and other related disciplines. It is a base of examination work for the National TCM Practitioner Certification Center, which is approved by the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine of China. It is also the National Training Base for TCM-Specialized English, the branch center of National Databases for Retrieval System of TCM Literature and the International Cooperation Center of TCM.SICAS ranks it a four-star university. About Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Founded in 1958, Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (LNUTCM) is the only university to train and educate professionals in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chinese Pharmacology, Acupuncture and Moxibustion, Chinese Massage Therapy, Chinese and Western Integrated Medicine in Clinical Practice, Senior Nursing and other related disciplines in Liaoning province. The University has a main campus in the capital city of Liaoning Province – Shenyang, and a branch campus in the seaside city – Dalian.

Current enrolment as LNUTCM is over 10,000, spreading under 31 undergraduate majors among the five disciplines of Medicine, Science, Engineering, Management and Arts. It currently possesses 16 faculties, 2 teaching departments, 2 experimental & teaching centers, 3 research institutes, 6 research centers, 2 libraries, 1 museum, 4 directly affiliated hospitals and 4 indirectly affiliated hospitals. In addition, LNUTCM has 3 post-doctoral research stations, 8 doctor degree accreditation authorizations, 18 master degree accreditation authorizations. As well there are 4 State-level featured majors, 1 innovatively experimental zone for cultivating national talents, 1 State-level teaching team, 3 State-level classic courses, 8 provincial-level model (characteristic) majors, 3 provincial-level branded majors, 3 provincial-level research labs, 9 provincial-level teaching teams, 31 provincial-level classic courses, 11 provincial-level teaching materials. LNUTCM is further authorized to run 19 basic labs and advantaged projects established by both central and local government, 11 third-tier State-level research labs, 20 second-tier State-level research labs and 15 provincial-level key labs and engineering centers.

Faculty
LNUTCM has a strong faculty team: 1 State-level professor-elite, 5 provincial-level professor-elites, 5 provincial-level faculty leaders, 49 State Council Experts for special allowance. It also has 1 State-level medical expert, 19 instructors inheriting research experience from State-level medical experts and 26 provincial-level medical experts. LNUTCM has 2 staff ranked as State-level New Millennium Talents, 63 ranked under provincial-level and 10 ranked as Provincial-level 315 Engineering Talents.

It has 10 key specialized clinics authorized by State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine of the People’s Republic of China, and 19 provincial-level in the 4 directly affiliated hospitals. For clinical training and internships, it has 40 hospitals and it also has 4 indirectly affiliated hospitals. Meanwhile, LNUTCM is one of the four Foreign Language Training Bases in the whole China.

Research and Education
LNUTCM has taken different kind of research responsibilities, such as the key technology of clinical trials with new drugs of Traditional Chinese Medicine authorized by The Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China, and the national clinical trial of medicine certified by State Food and Drug Administration. LNUTCM is also the branch center of database in National TCM documents retrieval, the international cooperation center of TCM, education and examination center of WFAS in Liaoning province and the examination center and test committee of WFCMS).

LNUTCM is also one of the Chinese universities which are available and authorized to recruit international students and the students from Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan in the first group. Currently, there are more than 80 higher education institutes and agencies from more than 20 countries, such as the United States, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, the UK, Canada, Australia, etc, have ongoing cooperation agreements with LNUTCM. Such joint efforts have resulted in LNUTCM sponsoring several international symposiums, further extending our renown overseas.

In the process of innovation and development of LNUTCM, adopting an educational concept of the best of class, LNUTCM strives forward “Be the best instead of the biggest”. The strategy of “Based on subjects, strengthened by talents, growing with technologies” has been implemented, and the university’s connotation construction has been strengthened. A passport-sized photo taken recently of the applicant.

2. Graduation certificate of high school
Graduation certificate should be in Chinese or English.If not, it should be translated into Chinese or English and be notarized.

3. Academic transcript of high school

4. Photocopy of 1st page to 8th page of your valid passport (Liaoning)

With photo, passport number & expiration date and name included.

For the regarding authority must make sure that there are at least two pages on the passport for the Chinese Embassy to stick the Visa paper and Immigration to stick the resident permit paper.
